Computer Network Defense Team Leader (CNDT), JFHQ TN J6.
Responsible for the
JFHQ, TN Computer Network Defense Team (CNDT) for the use of computer networks to protect, monitor, analyze, detect and respond to unauthorized activity within Department of Defense information systems and computer networks.  Provides overall guidance, direction and training to the members of the CNDT. Interface directly with the DCSIM staff to receive assignments and keep them informed on CNDT activities.  Resolve technical issues through individual knowledge of by assignment of other team members.  Assist other team members or DCSIM staff with technical problems whenever necessary.
 

Past Assignments: 

Smyrna Training Site Commander, Det. 1, TNARNG Training Site Command,.  Responsible for Training Site Operation at Volunteer Training Center   (STC) Smyrna .  The Training Center Manager is responsible for operation the training site effectively, economically, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.  This activity includes organizing training site support activities, and ensuring that adequate resources are provided to guarantee continual, effective operation of the training site.

Company Commander of Company A (Supply and Transportation), 473D Support Battalion in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Responsible for training (using Total Quality Management), discipline, pay and risk management & welfare of a 175 soldier unit. Accountable for the material requirement planning (MRP), implementation of organizational changes, quality assurance, inventory control, control and issue of Class I (Rations/Food), Class III (Petroleum) assets to support/sustain the 30th Separate Armor Brigade of the Tennessee Army National Guard in a wartime or peacetime environment.
 

Battalion Logistics Officer (S4).  Performs as the Key Logistics Officer of a support Battalion Headquarters supervising inter-battalion logistics functions. Follows directives of Battalion and Higher Headquarters implementing appropriate control and monitoring supply, dining, and maintenance operations. Provides information to the Commander on his functional areas and performs as the Battalion Logistical Readiness Officer. Additional duties include Assistant Battalion Movement Officer, Battalion Safety Council Chairman, Energy Council Coordinator POC, and Mobilization Purchasing Authority.

Range Control Officer.  Responsible for Range Control Operation at Volunteer Training Site  (VTS) Lavinia.  Responsible for assignment of projects to be completed during IDT periods.  Act as Liaison between VTS and using units.  Responsible for the safety and security op personnel, property and equipment.  Keep higher headquarters informed and updated.  Supervise and encourage good safety habits by all VTS personnel and using units.
